I was asked to re-design the living room for our friends the Courtney’s. It was a huge project and turned out so wonderful. The pallet wood wall was hand done by me and my husband and both home-owners too! It was a group effort and turned out stunning.

Thank you to V. Gilmore Photography for these portfolio photos as well!
I’m going to post some behind the scenes photos to show the process and explain a little of what my vision was and how we brought it to life!

COLOR INSPIRATIONS
So the pallet wood wall we did for this project was QUITE the undertaking. We not only hand removed all the boards from the pallets but we stained, burnished, sanding and pulled nails out of each board… pain staking process but WELL worth the end result I think! Here is some throw back pictures from my timehop app of the hanging process.

My next big project for the room was a wall decor focal point that my client Missy saw on Pinterest. It was made from shutters and turned out so well. I gathered shutters from yard sales, junk piles and Craigslist posts. The process couldn’t have been done without my sweet (at the time boyfriend) husband!

I found Missy’s furniture at Stash in Memphis off Poplar Ave. We looked at multiple options but this one kept coming back up in my mind and 3+ years later I think it’s held up really well.
